Woodland Walks – Ages 4-12 Come and meet the pony up close and personal with a nice ride around the woods (or the arena if it’s raining)

Halloween Hack
Pony Stars Taster Session aimed for 5-10 year olds:
- Shetland Striders are courageous and bold; just like Shetland ponies themselves. They will try anything and enjoy getting hands-on and can turn their hand (or hoof) to almost anything.
- They will work towards badges that will develop their passion for caring for all animals, wildlife, people and the environment. Shetland Striders will develop core skills like handling ponies and riding through regular lessons which build confidence and commitment.
- Shetland Striders will work through topics within six themes which can be completed in any order to suit their individual preferences.
- Stickers are awarded upon completion of topics.
Private lessons with Sammy (30 mins)
Clinics with Sammy including Halloween Jumping and Halloween Gymkhana
Thursday 28th October
Pony Day 10am-2pm
- Fun with the horses including games, quizzes and even some learning(!)

It’s Party Time!
Fancy dress competition with you and your favourite pony in matching/coordinated costumes. Please add a booking note requesting your pony, and you can come and work on your costume in advance, please ask Sammy (stablemanager@avonridingcentre.org.uk) for a convenient time.
Games like apple bobbing, scavenger hunts, pumpkin designing. Pizza included!
Preparation for fancy dress can be done on site.
Fancy dress will be in hand so don’t forget Frazer or Merlin as options for your pony pick!
Horses will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please speak to a member of the team about who is left!

A mixture of private and group lessons to meet all abilities.
