We have some activities planned for the Christmas break, so crack out your tinsel and use up some credits!
On Saturday December 22nd, we will be running a BHR Dressage Competition for all of you who want to get competition experience. You will come in, get your horse ready, warm it up and do the test. Afterwards you will receive feedback from the judge and everyone who is placed will get a rosette. There will be 2 classes, a walk/trot and a walk/trot/canter. Cost £20.
We will be welcoming international Paralympic coach, Clive Milkins for another series of private lessons. This would be a great opportunity to book a dressage training session, or just focus on an area you’re struggling with. These will take place from 12pm on Monday 17th December and cost £45.
There will also be availability for private lessons during the rest of the week, allocated on a first come, first served basis and dependent on instructor availability.
Don’t forget we will be running a practice showing session on December 15th at 3pm and a Showing Competition at 3pm on December 22nd.
Showing is where you have a group of horses and riders all in one class at the same time. You will have a walk, trot and canter around as a ride on the same rein, then you will line up in a provisional order or 1st-last. Then individually you will come forward and speak to you judge, then do your own short individual show of walk trot canter, once all have done their show, you will go back out as a ride and then judge will then pull you in, in the final order placing.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please get in touch if you would like to book.
