We were blessed with so much on Sunday 21st October. Firstly, fantastic weather. We couldn’t have had better if we had placed an order with the Met Office.
Secondly, some fantastic support from YardArts circus, Flamingo Chicks inclusive ballet, Dogs for Good, The Hatch Camphill Community, Avon Fire & Rescue, John Dowling Falconry, Bristol Zoo, a ukelele band and of course Chutney the Shire Horse.
Thirdly our amazing volunteers and staff who worked so hard getting the horses, the site and the cakes ready and tirelessly served drinks, sold raffle tickets and led ponies around the woods, .
Fourthly, the following companies who all donated food, or prizes for the raffle: Edith Wilmot Florists, Kindle Stoves, GWR, Joe’s Bakery, T&PA Murray, We the Curious and Boston Tea Party.
Fifthly, and most importantly, lots of lovely visitors. Thank you so much to everyone who came up to the Centre to enjoy the occasion with us. It raised a total of £1,682, which is enough to subsidise two riders’ riding lessons for a year.
Thank you all very much!
