Here at Avon Riding Centre, for the Disabled, we need £50,000 to buy a new surface for our arena. Because riders often need up to 3 helpers each to support them, the surface has to be easy to walk on for both horses and humans. This means it needs to be made by a specialist company from a mixture of sand, fibre and wax. We’ve already raised £23,000 but we need to make up the shortfall.
So we’ve thought of a novel idea to turn one of our waste products into Brown Gold!
Our Poo Party is the “poo”-fect op-”poo”-tunity to get your gardening gloves on our mountain of well-rotted horse manure.
“Man-your” garden is in for a treat!!
Bring a bag, bring a shovel and we’ll bring the fertilizer. You’ll be “flush” with success and the envy of all your gardening friends.
Teas and coffees will be available and we hope it will be a bit of a social event for local gardeners.
So come along and do your bit for the Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled… and your garden.
Sunday 11th September from 11am – 3pm at Avon Riding Centre.
